A SPECIAL NEEDS PLAN FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE

Provider Partners Health Plans offers Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plans (I-SNP and IE-SNP) designed to improve care for Medicare’s beneficiaries who reside in long-term care facilities or assisted living facilities who need the type of care that is provided in a nursing home. Provider Partners is managed by a group of highly experienced health care leaders that work with physicians and other providers to improve care and outcomes for members.

The plans replace traditional Medicare coverage with an all-in-one solution that covers:

Dr. Scott Rifkin | Executive Chairman

A recognized entrepreneur and innovator in healthcare, Scott Rifkin, MD, has more than 25 years of experience as a physician and healthcare executive. Since 1990, Dr. Rifkin has delivered clinical services to residents of long-term care facilities.

Dr. Rifkin is currently the Chairman of the Board of two other affiliated HMOs which offer Medicare Advantage plans. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and George Washington University School of Medicine.

Bruce R. (Rick) Grindrod, Jr. | CEO, President

As the President and CEO of Provider Partners, Rick leads the company’s overall business strategy, creating strategic relationships between long-term care providers and physicians to provide high-quality care to some of the most vulnerable Medicare patients. Rick has 29 years of experience managing all aspects of the operations and marketing of senior living and health care facilities. Rick holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland and a B.S. from Bucknell University.
